It makes my day when I hear that a recipient of one of my bespoke portraits is pleased with their illustration.
Last month a nice man called Mike purchased a bespoke portrait from me for his son (Christian) and his son's partner (Nur). His intention was to give it as an early Christmas present before the couple fly out to Athens over Winter (some people get all the luck!).
Mike has since gifted the portrait and has sent me such a lovely message - I couldn't wait to share it with you. After all, making people smile/cry (in a good way) makes what I do so fulfilling...
"Hi Sophie,
Today we had an early Christmas Day before Christian and Nur go to Athens on Thursday for the winter. We presented them with the gift you so brilliantly fashioned.
Nur cried. Christian told us it was the best gift he'd ever had in his life.
