It's not often the tables are turned on me, and I become my own client. However, with my Mother-in-law's 70th birthday last week, my wife decided it would be special to create a large-scale, extended family portrait for her including husband, children, children-in-law (yep, I'm in it too), grandchildren, and even her bear-like golden retriever. Thankfully, she's always been a fan of my illustrations, and loved it. It's now hanging above her tv in the living room.
