As an illustrator, I am keen to impress my customers with bright and vibrant representations of themselves, their partners, and their families. But the all singing, all dancing illustration that gets dispatched to their door, doesn't just magically appear overnight (far from it).
There are many sketchbook pages with revisions and iterations for each portrait that often never see the light of day... until now.
As a friend of Tiny Grey, I'd like to share with you some of my hidden sketchbook pages. So, I've popped below a couple of messy, full-of-life lines that sit beneath the final portraits I create. The lines that energise and breathe character into each piece.
